On Monday we went and tried Indonesia drumming. We were extremely lucky because Year 6 were due to visit but they were doing another activity that day, and we went instead!
We were split in two groups because there were 30 of us and 15 instruments. I was on the big base gong in group 1. The gongs did not have notes they had numbers, so instead of reading music we had to read the numbers.
In Christopher Columbus’ diary he wrote: “I’m going home from Indonesia, I head some weird noses - in case there's danger I’m going now”
