5R - Nigeria rules on Heritage Day!

Lots of stalls after the parade to visit - pastries, fish & chips, ice cream and Chinese and Indian food too.  Some of our parents have volunteered to help set up the stalls and cook their native foods for everyone to enjoy.

Many activities were hosted by Yr 6 students - Face Painting, Henna hand painting and Matching Cards game.
Our class wore the colours of the Nigerian flag - green and white.  In Nigeria, the weather is very hot with two seasons, the rainy season and dry season and also the harmattan which brings sand from the Sahara desert.
