Henri Rousseau

Over the past week we have been learning about Henri Roussaeu's paintings and about drawing Indian jungles with jugle animals but was from France and has never seen an jungle before or an jungle animals. He used stuffed animals to see how the animals looked like and that was how he was able to draw a jungle. The critics thought hid pictures were"childlike" and "flat".Only after he was dead people appreicated his paintings. We have made our own pictures. But for now see these Henri Rousseau paintings.

Maths Week!

This week is now Maths week-hurray! The whole school has had lots of fun doing practical activities. Today with our class teacher, Miss Thornton we weighed fruit, but to also help Mrs Walters with selling out the smoothies. It had to weigh a hundred grams to be accurate of how much fruit we needed. Afterwards we got to eat our recipe-YUMMY! Me and Deran ate the 'Grand Health-O' and Nahom's was called 'Delicious Delight'. But there are other activities waiting to be found...we can't wait!!!
